Luka Doncic Balls Out During EuroBasket Exhibition Game

Luka Doncic returned from a knee injury at EuroBasket on Tuesday and his final stat line looked pretty similar to the ones he puts up in the NBA. 

The tournament presents a tough chouice for both teams and players. The players want to compete with their countrymen, many of them who they've known for years. 

But there is also the risk that players could be injured during the tournament, affecting the regular season in the NBA. And while teams want to keep their players happy, they also want to do what is best for the team. 

The Greek team has also had to answer questions about Giannis Antentokounmpo ans whether or not he could play in the tournament. The Lakers are ok with their megastar Luka Doncic playing in the tournament, but they had plenty to worry about when he suffered a knee injury during a game in the tournament. 

Luckily enough, the injury was only a knee contusion and he was able to return for an exhibition game on Tuesday. And he certainly looked like Doncic. The shooting guard only played in 28 minutes and scored 28 points. He also showed off his all-around offensive game by pulling down 6 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists. 

Team Slovenia will go as far as Luka Doncic can take them. The team doens't boast quite as much talent as some of the other teams in the tournament, though they do feature several prominent players from Europe and Vlatko Cancar from the Denver Nuggets.
