Coby White Reveals His Hopeful Return Date For the Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls are off to a red-hot start in 2025/26, and with a record of 6-1 through seven games, they're the surprise of the NBA to this point. That success has mostly come on the back of a breakout campaign from Josh Giddey, who has established himself as the dominant guard already on this team with two triple-doubles in seven games.

Now, that raises major questions about this team upon the return of Coby White, who has been their dominant guard for the past few years, with the star guard yet to appear in a game this season. After a recent setback, White has opened up on his season debut in 2025/26, and while he doesn't have a specific date, he's targeting the West Coast road trip that begins in 9 days as a potential return.

On that trip, the Bulls take on Utah, Denver and Portland between the 16th and 19th of November, and with a back-to-back on that trip, it makes sense if the team could look to get White back on the floor at some point.

Last season, White averaged 20, 5 and 4 over 74 games, and while Giddey has taken the reigns early in 2025/26, it's safe to say that for this team to succeed long-term, they need both firing. Only time will tell how White's return effects the start that these Bulls are off too this season, but it appears as though we'll find out soon with White's return not too far away.
