Charles Barkley Declares The Golden State Warriors Dynasty is Over

For the past 15 years, the Golden State Warriors have been the best team in the NBA, winning four championships with some of the greatest players the league has ever seen. Many believed their dynasty was over years ago, but in 2022, they made a statement by winning a title without Kevin Durant, with Stephen Curry showing everyone just how incredible he is.

Three years later, and the dynasty may now be over, at least according to Charles Barkley, stating that the age of Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler has caught up to them.

"They had one of the greatest runs in NBA history, but it's over. They're just old. Steph is on the Mount Rushmore, but he's gonna keep breaking down. I don't think Jimmy is the same player, and Draymond definitely is not the same player."

Sure, no one will ever disrespect Curry and this team for what they've done, but given the immense competition in the Western Conference, it's hard to see them making a deep run this season. Of course, injuries and upsets always happen and can change things, but as of right now, it's hard to argue with Barkley's assessment of this once immense dynasty.

Looking back on it, this team was one of the greatest we've ever seen in the NBA, with four titles, a record 73–9 season, and some of the best highlights of all-time, but after a run of a decade or more at the top, this may be it for the current group.
