Warriors Losing Streak Ends With Emphatic Win Over Utah Jazz
Nov 25, 2025
The Golden State Warriors are not quite where they’d like to be. When they traded for Jimmy Butler last season, the expectation was to build one final championship-level team around Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. The team’s hot finish to the season, with Butler in the lineup, gave many hope that with some minor roster adjustments and a full summer/training camp, they could really be an elite team in the Western Conference.
As of Tuesday, the Warriors are 10-9 and are only the 8th seed in the West. Despite having one of the most difficult schedules to start the year, this simply isn’t good enough.
That’s why when the Warriors ended their three-game losing streak on Monday night, Warriors fans let out sighs of relief.

The Warriors handled the young and inexperienced Jazz, 134–117, in a game that, after the first quarter, was never in question.
While this win might not be vastly important in the grand scheme of things, taking care of a worse team while players like Draymond Green, Al Horford, and Jonathan Kuminga are sidelined is important. Especially because two of the Warriors’ next three games are against the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder, two of the best teams in the league.
If the Warriors are going to turn their season around, they need to be winning games against teams like the Jazz. If they are going to be a real threat to compete with the best of the Western Conference teams, they are going to need to win games against the Thunder and Rockets.
The Jazz game may not have been a huge test for the Warriors, but their upcoming schedule should give them a good idea of just how well they stack up in the West.
