Steve Kerr Reflects on This Final Chapter of the Warriors Dynasty

Can the Golden State Warriors win one more championship during Curry’s career? It’s been the question eating away at the Warriors fans, players, and organization. What can they do to give Curry one more shot at winning it all?

Some people think there's nothing left to do. Curry isn't a top-5 player anymore. Draymond has declined. The Warriors held onto their young players too long, and now they lack the trade chips to make a good move.

What does Steve Kerr think about the window closing on the Warriors' dynasty? He spoke on The Athletic Show about what he believes is happening with the end of the Warriors dynasty.

"Well, it is closing as we speak. We just don't know exactly when it's going to end. And what we're hanging on to is the idea that we still have something left in the tank. And if all the pieces fall into place, we think we have a shot. And so we're trying to get one more. I think it's the attempt when you're in it that is the most important thing. Obviously, we all have a rings culture, we all focus on who won, but there is something beautiful in the fight, in the quest, and it is because we love it so much, because we love what we do, there really is a beauty in the journey to hang in there and maybe reach the top of the mountain one more time. But if we don't, and chances are we won't, because we are not a favorite to do it. But if we don't and we still gave it the effort and had this experience together, that's worth a lot. But we all know inside what that journey means to us."

Kerr believes there is still a chance. He admits that it will be hard and that it is unlikely, but he believes there is still a chance. That means something because Kerr has seen a lot of great teams and dynasties throughout his career.
