Steve Kerr Comments On the Warriors Tough Early Season Schedule

Ever since arriving with the Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr has led a modern-day NBA dynasty, adjusting quickly to the role of head coach to lead this loaded team to plenty of success. In that time, the Warriors have compiled four NBA Championships, and while there could be some down times ahead, this is still a team loaded with stars like Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler.

However, the build of this roster isn't as good as it was during their prime run together, with few people expecting them to be able to compete for the Championship in 2025–26. A lack of depth and star power compared to previous years may not be their only problem, however, as Steve Kerr has seemingly called out the Warriors' tough early-season schedule.

"The Miami game will be our 17th game in 29 days in 13 different cities. It's been the toughest early schedule I've ever been a part of in my entire NBA life."

In his comments, Kerr notes that their latest game against Miami is their 17th in 29 days, with the team needing to travel across the country to visit a total of 13 cities during that time.

Despite all of the travel, the Warriors are sitting at 9-6 on the season, and while the Western Conference is loaded with deep, balanced teams, with Curry and Kerr leading the way, there is always optimism that this team could go deep in the NBA Playoffs.
