NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins Links Anthony Davis To Red-Hot Eastern Conference Contender

Anthony Davis has already been involved in not one, but two blockbuster trades in his career, and now, it appears as though a third may not be far away. After arriving in Dallas following the Luka Doncic trade, Davis has struggled to stay healthy, and that's led to the belief that the Mavericks are looking to move the injury-prone big man.

There's now been plenty of speculation about Davis' next destination, with many noting that it will likely be a team in the Eastern Conference. Being from Chicago, the obvious links to the Bulls are there, but now, NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins has suggested the Detroit Pistons as a landing spot for AD.

“My sources are also telling me that Detroit has a lot of interest in Anthony Davis”

As of right now, the Pistons are the hottest team in the NBA, rattling off 11 straight victories as they look to capitalize on the promise they showed a year ago when they returned to the NBA Playoffs. With a 13-2 record and a core built around Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duran, this is potentially the perfect landing spot for Davis, who wants to shift back to the 4, and with the depth in Detroit, this could be a move that benefits everyone.

Only time will tell whether or not Davis can get healthy, but if he does and the Mavericks move him, the Pistons make perfect sense as they look to go from promising young team to NBA Finals contenders.
