Milwaukee Bucks Targeting Three Veterans To Upgrade Their Roster Ahead of The Trade Deadline

The Milwaukee Bucks changed things up this past summer, and with a healthy team, the expectation was that they would be a genuine contender in a wide-open, beaten-up Eastern Conference. While they've picked up three wins in their last four games played, they still sit at 14–19 this season, with constant speculation that two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo could be on the way out.

However, the team has been clear that they aren't moving the face of the franchise, with the belief that they can turn things around and be a genuine contender once more in 2025–26. They may need some help to do just that, though, and in a recent report, Jamal Collier has revealed three veteran names to keep an eye on for Bucks additions: Jerami Grant, Malik Monk, and Zach LaVine.

Any of the three would be significant additions for the Bucks, and after bringing in Kyle Kuzma a year ago and Myles Turner in the summer, if done correctly, some moves ahead of the trade deadline could truly take this team to the next level.

In the East, the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons remain the clear top two teams, but with injuries always playing a role, the Bucks could capitalize if they build this team right. At 14–19, though, they've still got to build plenty of momentum before they give themselves a chance to make a run at the top of the conference, and if they see Antetokounmpo sticking around, making a key addition could be the turning point.
