Josh Hart Blasts 'Part-Time Knicks Fan' Stephen A. Smith Following Recent Comments

For decades, the New York Knicks were the laughing stock of the NBA, but in recent years, they've turned it all around, becoming a genuine NBA Championship threat in the Eastern Conference. They've done so by acquiring the likes of Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart, but unfortunately, not all of those moves have paid off to quite the same degree.

One of the deals that has received immense criticism is the trade for Mikal Bridges that saw the Knicks give up five first-round picks for the two-way wing, who can be fantastic when he's at his best. Unfortunately, he's not been at that level consistently since arriving in New York, and unsurprisingly, that's led to Stephen A. Smith, a 'Knicks fan' calling him out on ESPN.

In the process, he also took a run at Josh Hart, and given Hart's relationship with this team, it's no shock that today he fired back at the face of ESPN.

"For me, I think Stephen A., as a part-time Knicks fan, needs to shut the hell up. He barely knows guys that are on the team."

Hart isn't alone in this feeling, as Knicks fans have been critical of Smith's knowledge for years, but given his massive platform, he still gets plenty of support from the casual ESPN viewers.

Ultimately, if the Knicks don't win an NBA Championship with this group, the trade for Bridges will have been a failure, but given that he's a 'Knicks fan', the comments from Smith have certainly deserved this backlash.
