Steph Curry Reveals The Latest On His Potential Retirement

For the past 15 years, Steph Curry has been one of, if not the most exciting, players in the NBA, and despite early injuries in his career, he has been a transcendent star for the Golden State Warriors ever since. In his career, the 37-year-old has become the NBA's all-time three-point leader, and not only that, he's led the Warriors to becoming a modern-day dynasty, winning four NBA Championships in the span of a 10 years.

In 2025–26, he's still playing at an incredibly high level, averaging 27 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds per game, and at 37 years of age, many see his career winding down as the years go by. However, retirement isn't a thought just yet for No. 30, as he has now revealed that while it's coming up, for now, he doesn't see himself stepping away from the NBA anytime soon.

“It’ll declare itself whenever the time comes to call it quits, which I don’t think is anytime soon.”

While Curry's career was defined by injuries early on, he's been relatively healthy over the past decade, and as of right now, he's confident he can still play at a high level for years to come.

Ultimately, whenever he does retire, Curry will be in the conversation for the best point guard in NBA history, and if he keeps playing at this level, he may be the popular pick for No. 1 in league history at the position, but that retirement is still a few years away.
