Golden State Warriors Reportedly Keeping An Eye On Bam Adebayo's Situation in Miami

The Golden State Warriors offseason started slow, but after signing Jonathan Kuminga, they've put together some solid additions. Those additions include Seth Curry, Al Horford, and De'Anthony Melton, and after landing Jimmy Butler at the deadline a season ago, this is looking like a team that can once again contend in the Western Conference.
Now, however, it appears they may not be content with this roster, as they have reportedly looked towards this season’s deadline and assessed a blockbuster move that they could make. According to reporter Brett Siegel, the team is keeping an eye on Butler's former team, monitoring Bam Adebayo's situation as they prepare to make the Heat another big offer if Adebayo officially asks out.
“Bam Adebayo is another All-Star in the East who would be at the top of the Warriors' list of potential trade targets if he were to ever request a trade from the Miami Heat, sources said.”
If Adebayo were to ask for a trade given the lack of stars around him in Miami, Golden State wouldn't be the only team interested, but with a Championship core, they clearly believe that he could be a key piece of a run if he does become available.

Last season, Adebayo averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists for a Heat team that struggled its way into the play-in, and while he hasn't indicated that he wants out as of yet, if he eventually makes that call, Golden State would be the perfect landing spot for the veteran star.
