New Report Reveals What Utah Jazz Center Walker Kessler Believes He Is Worth

Back in 2022, Walker Kessler was a late first-round pick of the Utah Jazz, and while nobody thought much of it at the time, he's turned into one of the best defensive center's in the entire NBA. The 24-year old has averaged 2.5 blocks per game over his career, and after taking his game to a new level offensively this year, averaging 14.4 points for Utah, he's drawing immense interest around the league.

With Utah adding Jaren Jackson Jr. at the trade deadline, the expectation is that they will run the JJJ/Kessler combination up front for years to come, but with free agency approaching, Kessler is hoping to get paid. Speculation has revealed that he could get a deal upwards of $25 million per season on a long-term deal, but according to reports, Kessler and his team believe he's worth not only more than that, but 'much, much more'.

On paper, it's easy to see why they feel this way, as Kessler has dominated on both ends of the floor for Utah this season, and with the prospect of pairing up next to JJJ moving forward, he knows how valuable he is to this Jazz organization.

Right now, we know that the Lakers are one of many teams ready to make Kessler a big offer, and while other teams may line up to offer him a big deal, as of right now, all expectations are that the Jazz will match anything, even over $25 million per season.
