Milwaukee Bucks Showing Significant Interest In Sacramento Kings Star
Nov 26, 2025
The Milwaukee Bucks made some huge changes this offseason, but as a result of an injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo, the team sits at 8–10 through their first 18 games. When the two-time MVP is healthy, there's optimism that the Bucks can turn things around and still be a genuine contender in the 2025–26 season.
However, to make that happen, the team needs more consistent secondary scoring options, something they'll look to acquire on the trade market in the coming months. Now, we know of one player the team has shown interest in, as Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype is reporting that Zach LaVine is on their radar moving forward.
“The Milwaukee Bucks have conducted background due diligence on Zach LaVine and others around the league, as usual, sources told HoopsHype. However, nothing is imminent as Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo nears a return from a low-grade adductor strain. Should Milwaukee’s interest in LaVine become more serious, it’s worth noting that Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma and Kings Governor Vivek Ranadive both invested in a new women’s professional sports venture called Major League Volleyball, and Kuzma has been linked to the Kings via trade rumors for several seasons.”
Despite Sacramento's struggles, LaVine has once again been a consistent scorer this season, averaging 20.5 points a night on 50% shooting from the floor and 39% from beyond the arc.

There are, of course, question marks over LaVine and his ability to affect winning basketball, but with the Bucks looking for a consistent scorer, LaVine is the perfect target for them moving forward.
