Draymond Green Clears Up Some Confusion About Moses Moody's Knee Injury
Mar 26, 2026
The Golden State Warriors have been devastated by another injury. Moses Moody went down with a knee injury that will likely keep him off the court for the next 9-12 months. The Warriors are already dealing with Jimmy Butler being out the rest of the season with a torn ACL, and Stephen Curry has missed 20+ straight games with his own knee injury.

Draymond Green recently spoke about the moment that Moody went down with his knee injury and how there was a bit of confusion about what caused the injury.
"If you go look at the play, myself, Naji Marshall, P.J. Washington, a lot of guys are standing there talking. What guys were saying was like 'Man, we kept telling them that the floor is wet. We kept telling them the floor is wet' because we all thought he slipped. You see him going full speed, you see him take off, we thought he slipped. When you obviously go back and look at the replay, he didn't slip. So we're all just standing like 'Man, it's one thing to see a guy get hurt, but it's a different when you see a guy get hurt caused by a wet spot on the floor'. So we all thought he slipped. You go back and watch the replay, he didn't slip. He went to go up and it just gave out. But that's what the dialogue was about, we kept telling them 'This floor is wet, floor is wet.'"
Moody’s injury is extremely sad for all Warriors fans and players. However, if it had been a random wet spot that had caused the injury, that would have made everything even worse.
