Cameron Brink Reveals Her All-Time NBA Starting Five
Aug 25, 2025
Cameron Brink, one of the brightest young stars in the WNBA, recently offered up her all-time NBA starting five which had a family connection.

The second overall selection in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Brink had previously started at Stanford, leading the team to a National Championship in 2021. She is currently playing for the Los Angeles Sparks, but an ACL injury cut her rookie season short.
As she recuperates, Brink has been hosting a podcast along with Sydel Curry, Stephen and Seth's sister. During a recent episode, the Sparks' star was asked for her all-time starting five. She answered:
"Steph Curry, Seth Curry, Damion Lee, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar... Dell Curry."
It should be noted that Brink's mother was roommates with the Curry's mother, Sonya, while attending Virginia Tech. And Sonya was named Cameron Brink's godmother. So there is a close family connection.
Stephen Curry would, of course, show up on many people's all-time starting fives. One of the greatest shooters in league history, he will walk into the Hall of Fame as soon as eligible.
Seth Curry isn't quite his brother, but he has carved out a fine NBA career playing for several teams, currently the Charlotte Hornets.
Damion Lee is currently playing in Israel but spent seven seasons in the NBA, winning a ring with the Warriors in 2022. He is also married to Sydel Curry.
Family patriarch Dell Curry spent 16 years in the NBA, most notably becoming the first star of the Charlotte Hornets expansion team. He was named the NBA's 6th Man of the Year in 1994.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the only player on the list without a connection to the Curry's, but its also hard to argyue against his case.
